Diana Seo is the founder and president of The Collagen Bar, a medical aesthetic and skincare clinic, with locations in Greenwich, CT and NYC.
Diana has over fifteen years of combined experience in the health, medical and beauty fields. She started her career as a researcher/technologist in the Cytogenetics Department at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. She then enhanced her understanding of skin aesthetics working for one of the most notable plastic surgeons in the world, Dr. Charles Thorne, the editor-in-chief of the “Grabb and Smith’s Plastic Surgery” textbook.
Diana received her aesthetician license and ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) certification from the Atelier Esthétique Institute of Esthetics. Her Skin Specialist and Facial Electrical diplomas are recognized in over thirty-nine countries. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Biophysics and minor in Chemistry and Mathematics.
Her strategy to skincare combines both Eastern and Western teachings. She contributes her holistic approach to her interests, which includes Ayurveda, yoga, reiki and acupuncture. She firmly practices and preaches that balance is key to a healthy life. She believes that “Your body systems work together, therefore, they are interdependent of each other. Visible signs of aging are inevitable, but can be slowed dramatically with proper care. “
Her motto is ‘I rather prevent than cure’ and her goal for her clients is to love themselves & their skin no matter what their age.
Dr. Edward Jacobson is a Board certified gynecologist who has been in private practice for over thirty years in Manhattan and Greenwich, Connecticut. He trained at the New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center where he remained an attending physician until moving his practice of vaginal surgery to Greenwich 30 years ago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a Fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and is a member of the Bioidentical Hormone Society, the International Hormone Society, the Bioidentical Hormone Initiative and the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists.
He is one of only a few gynecologists in the United States with advanced training and extensive experience with both laser and radiosurgery. In addition, Dr. Jacobson’s office practice stresses natural and alternative options for relief of gynecologic symptoms. He is an expert in the use of the management of natural hormone supplementation for symptom relief and long term preventative health care.
Dr. Jacobson periodically consults with patients and sees patients at his office in Beverly Hills, California. He is on the attending medical staff at Greenwich Hospital and Stamford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr. Jacobson has appeared in numerous television and radio shows and has been interviewed by the New York Times, the London Times and Fox News.
Jonathan Hilton Sherwyn, M.D., F.A.C.S. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery - the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify plastic surgeons.
Dr. Sherwyn is a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. He obtained his general surgery training at the Lenox Hill Hospital, New York and then attended the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York for his training in plastic surgery. Dr. Sherwyn furthered his education as a Fellow both at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and in Miami, where he trained with several of the world's most outstanding physicians and surgeons. He has undertaken preceptorships at the Emory Clinic in Atlanta and the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, similarly with leaders in the field of plastic surgery. Presently he is an attending plastic surgeon at the Lenox Hill Hospital and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York and Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut. Additionally, his office maintains an on-site surgical suite that is fully accredited.
Dr. Sherwyn is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Additional society memberships include the American Medical Association, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Sherwyn has been appointed as Affiliate Faculty of the College of Health Professions of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Initial consultations are conducted with Dr. Sherwyn himself, not delegated to an assistant, for approximately one and one half hours in order to ensure a thorough discussion of each individual's desires, needs and goals. A copy of the doctor's notes is provided together with printed materials pertinent to the visit. Second, or follow-up, consultations and preoperative consultations are offered gratis. All aftercare is similarly personally performed by Dr. Sherwyn.
